Miami put up eighty-six first-half points versus the Grizzlies

The Heat secured a crushing 146 to 114 victory against the Memphis Grizzlies in their first NBA game after player Rozier was detained over suspected illegal gambling.

Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups was additionally detained as part of a broad federal probe into illegal gambling. The two individuals contest the claims.

League Commissioner Silver 'Disturbed' by Recent Events

Addressing the arrests for the initial occasion, league head Silver said he was "very upset" by the events of the past few days.

"We investigated the matter and were very transparent regarding it. And while there was that aberrational betting, we, honestly, couldn't find anything.

"The federal government has legal authority... [it] can impose penalties, can take various actions that the league office can't do.

"Therefore, we've been working with them since then. And, of course, what they revealed recently was an indictment.

"Moreover 30 months after, he has not been found guilty of anything, in justice to Terry.

"Obviously, it doesn't look good, but he's been put on administrative leave, and so it is a balance in this case between protecting people's rights and investigating."
